Coalition effort advancing Pipelines across Pennsylvania

Drilling firm sues Penn Township over permit

In this case, Penn Township backtracked over the idea of stopping a driller from going forward while a lawsuit is under appeal with the County Court of Common Pleas.  A settlement agreement allows the driller to go forward with their plans while the case is under appeal and the Township assumes no financial liability.
